Geotechnical Testing and Inspection Services During Construction

Client:  Mack5 and Richmond Community Redevelopment Agency

Questa performed geotechnical testing and inspection services during construction of the Richmond BART Station Parking Garage project.  Services were provided on a full time basis during preliminary site preparation and grading, and primary pile construction activities that involved installation of 750 drilled displacement piles.  Following completion of pile installation, geotechnical services were provided on an on-call basis.  Services provided include: field density/compaction testing; pile installation monitoring; pile cap construction observations; utility trench excavations; utility trench backfill testing; engineered fill construction monitoring and testing.
