Questa provided engineering design, environmental review and permitting, and complete construction management services to the City of Mill Valley for the construction of six steps and paths to improve safety and accessibility of an existing network of pedestrian connections. These provide for neighborhood, recreation and access, and emergency evacuation routes. The project was designed to meet City and Caltrans requirements. Tasks included preparation of a preliminary assessment report, NEPA environmental review and special studies, CEQA IS/MND and permitting, design plans, specifications and cost estimates, assistance in obtaining E-76 approval through the Caltrans Local Assistance Program, bid support, and full construction management following Caltrans Local Assistance procedures.
